I've been using this for long-exposure night shots and the lock feature on the shutter button is a lifesaver for keeping the camera steady. The half-press works exactly like the camera's own button, so there's no learning curve.

Shot fireworks over the lake last weekend and the half-press focus lock made timing the bursts way easier than fumbling with the camera's timer. The one metre cable is just right for standing back from the tripod. Bulb mode actually works the way it should now.

The hold button is the feature I didn't know I needed. I locked it down for a 6-minute bulb exposure of the Milky Way and didn't have to keep my finger pressed the whole time. Cable's exactly one metre, which reaches fine from my tripod setup.
